[TRAP MIX] // Flosstradamus // B⚠NNED
Ayeee we got a new, sick ass trapstep mix from ya boy Flosstradamus, one of THE definitive trapstep artist. This next mix is short up to thirty minutes long, 15 song compilation of some great quality. It starts off with the song Dro Montana by Tom Richman, an old SoundCloud hit of months ago, which gives the mix a mystical and dreamwave feel to start things off. Of course it's only a matter of time before this mix goes towards the hip-hop vibe, starting off around the 6:36 mark with the sample from Bands Make Her Dance by Juicy J (hey I remember that song!) But I really he's got a nice mix of traditional trap hip-hop and some of his own songs including the now famous remix from Baauer and UZ's Test Me remix. Mos def gotta cop this bad boy...

[EXCLUSIVE RELEASE] // DJ Fade // Who Let The Dogs Out + Vixen (DJ Fade Remix)
DJ FADE // Who Let The Dogs Out
// Vixen (DJ Fade Remix)
// Vixen (DJ Fade Remix)
What up bitches I got some new trapstep just waitin' to jump out the box from a young artist by the name of DJ Fade. But don't ever let the lack of name recognition get in the way of what you're listenin' too, cause chances are you'll hear this guy's name again, very soon. The first track you may remember, as he samples the classic dance-song Who Let the Dogs Out? by the ridiculous Baja Men. Thankfully, DJ Fade doesn't use too much of the original to rely on, and basically samples only one everlasting part of the original. This youngster uses the internationally recognized sound clip to showcase his wide range of skill to create a melodic trap single out of just one tiny sample. My favorite drop definitely has to be the 0:54 mark, as things go slow-mo for a second.
The second trap is a remix of the song Be My Vixen by Miguel Jontel, similar to the previous jam in that it relies mainly on one sample to lead things through, while DJ Fade definitely tones down the intensity in this one, letting the bass and snare flow all through the three minutes and eleven seconds. In good form, he is also able to keep some of the calm, heart-warming vibes of the original lurking in this remix, taking some of the sweeter parts of Miguel's original, and snapping them together to produce an awesome trapstep remix.
Cop both these bad boys and don't forget to do ya' homeboy's his due and follow him on his SoundCloud, Facebook, and Twitter: @Djfadethefuture.

[TRAPMIX] DEITY // JULY #TRAP MIX
Here's another trap mix I'd like to share with you, coming from the artist DEITY, under the name DXXXY on SoundCloud. While the mix is nothing groundbreaking, it's better than plenty which are shared every day, as he seems to do more than just throwin' together a bunch of trapstep songs. After the first breakdown to start things off, you can tell this mix is gonna be sure fire. Reviewing this mix would also sure be easier if I had a track list to work off, but considering the length of this bitch, I probably wouldn't wanna write down all those track names either, especially after putting the finishing touches on this bad boy. Nevertheless, things start off a little indie, with less influence from the hip-hop game, but the rap stars don't take long to pop their heads out around the 7:10 mark. But Diety does a nice job flowin' from the indie samples to the hip-hop samples, including a good amount of 2 Chainz throughout. One favorite mark includes the verse from 20:02-21:58, considering its relativity to the style of the female rapper and the same sort of angst seen in the work of artist of the sampled background beat, M.I.A. And after that, what's a trap mix without a little Gucci Mane singin' 'bout how he's in love with another white girl. Ahhh, just like the good ole' days... but as previously mentioned, it's certainly not just another Gucci trap mix, as Diety leans towards more popular trap remixes of radio hits, including remixes of Drank in My Cup, Climax, and Mercy. Definitely consider this mix when puttin' together your next set.
Don't forget to check out some more of DEITY's work over at his SoundCloud page.You should also check out his latest upload, a chopped-and-screwed remix of the song Up All Night by Drake x Nicki Minaj.

[TRAPMIX] ILLY WALSH // STAY OFF MY CLOUD
Fresh for the summer season, DJ ILLY WALSH has put together a promo mix of 19 songs which he has sliced and trapped up to provide for a solid 26-minute mix of some glitchy trapstep music. He decides to start the mix off with a core of electro-songs featuring I Get by Bukez Finezt beautifully mixed with the song Trapped In Sydney by Craze And Codes. But eventually, the mix sees the flow-in of more lyrics, from rappers Lil Wayne and Juicy J thanks to tracks from Bitch Don't Trap by ULTRAVIOLET x WE BANG and Smoke That Bitch by the latter. Overall, the mix is nothing spectacular, but features a solid mix of trap-step songs and hip-hop jams to get the job done for about thirty minutes. You can check out the official track-list and order on the track's SoundCloud page, linked below.
This is one of the very few tracks avaliable from ILLY WALSH, who out of San Francisco, CA only has one other mix on his SoundCloud page.
